The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, an action RPG, is the third edition in the Elder Scrolls series and was first released on 1st May 2002. Set in an open-world environment on an island called Vvardenfell within Morrowind, players are given a character who has just been released from prison, which they can customise in regards to attributes such as name, class and skill set. As the game is open-ended, players can decide which quests and objectives to take on, which in turn will develop certain skills within their character.
The game was received extremely well by players, with a review score of 89% on Metacritic and 9/10 on Steam. Fans were quick to praise Morrowmind’s graphics and creative vision, with some describing it as the best RPG of all time.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is run on Gamebryo engine and was developed by Bethesda Softworks, also known for games including Starfield and the Fallout series. Users wanting to experience the game can access it on Xbox or Microsoft Windows.
Save Location
If you want to share your Morrowind save with a friend, transfer it to a different computer, or want to avoid the traumatic experience of losing your saves to corruption (yes, I speak from experience), you’ll need to know where your save files are located.
Thankfully, they’re fairly easy to locate for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. You will find all of them in the following folder:

Firstly, open up a File Explorer window, you can do this by right clicking your Start Menu button (bottom left hand corner of your screen) and clicking "File Explorer". Then, click the address bar at the top of the File Explorer window and paste the above path ( C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Saves ) into it:
After pasting the path into the address bar, just hit ENTER and you’ll be in your saves folder!

I have discovered a sort of work around where you rename the old saves you want to delete instead in game though it wasn’t obvious at first.
— Open save game, (while in game at the point you want to save), go to one of the saves you want to replace and rename, backspace, rename and voila.
I preferred not to turn off the cloud sync so this was the next option.
It still looks messy at first but depending on the number of saves you make over the course of your character(s) you can eventually remove all the old saves, replace them with your new ones and the new names.
