Enigma2 какие имиджи на python 3
Clock is ticking, are we planning to move to python 3.x?

Well python 2.7 will die hard.
Although it would be nice if new code is python3 compatible with unit testing.
betacentauri commented Feb 3, 2019
We should eg think about accepting new py files only if they use this:
from future import absolute_import
from future import division
from future import print_function
betacentauri commented Feb 7, 2019 •
Just tested python-future on a sumo image. Sumo because python-future is there already included in the OE. It seems to work, but you need to use:
from __future__ import print_function

technic commented Feb 9, 2019
The python files should be fine, I am more afraid about C-API part.
athoik commented Feb 10, 2019
Maybe we can use enigma3 on the feeds!
That will allow to test enigma3 and speed up the whole process!
betacentauri commented Feb 11, 2019
But for testing I guess we first need to make main python files python 3 compatible.
betacentauri commented Feb 23, 2019
Compiling e2 with python3 now works. But pyo/pyc files are missing in the package and more bad e2 don’t work 🙁

The SWIG problems are solved. Changes are committed.
There are still several issues with python code.

enigma2 Webinterface API Documentation
Today i took a little time to write a small python-script for creating a basic enigma2 WebInterface API-Documenation (like pydoc does in a very sophisticated way for python).
Here’s the result: https://dream.reichholf.net/e2web/
It is (yet) not perfect when it comes to formatting but i hope this may be useful for some of you.
I’m planning to create a cronjob for automated daily update.
Small Update:
Addes some more Information to make e.g. repeating content more obvious.
Comments, e.g. welcome!

The script has been updated (has a TOC with links now, plus some minor additional improvements).
I’ve finally configured a cronjob to generate the documentation on a daily basis.
If you discover any flaws, go ahead an tell me!

Thanks for providing this info, I was looking for something like this since some time.
It would be nice if you could add a description to the API commands, e.g. explaining/describing the input and the return values.

true, that would be nice. But it’s not so easy to automatically generate that ![]()
But a already thought about ways to make that possible.
hi ![]()
Thanks ![]()
What happend to ?
- Official Post
hi, /upload & Co. are still there, there is just no automated documentation for that parts (only for the /web/* part).
I think it’s a shame you removed this option.
It’s smart to be able to send pictures and videos home that way
you get back space on your mobile device
your family can see where you are and what you do when you travel
or if your wife is shopping in Ikea, she can send at picture home and ask you if you think you can assemble this rack. ![]()
Forgot to ask if there is any chance that you planted it again ?

nevermind. shame on me.

Well, /upload was actually disabled since the rewrite using twisted.web – you should know it given that you initially disabled the child ![]()
But I have re-enabled it about 90 minutes ago since I removed the last blocker that was left in the code.

Enigma2 какие имиджи на python 3
The Enigma machines were invented at the end of World War I by German engineer Arthur Scherbius and were mainly used to protect commercial, diplomatic and military communication. Enigma machines became more and more complex and were heavily used by the German army during World War II to encrypt radio signals.
The Enigma machine was used to both encrypt or decrypt Enigma messages (Enigma encryption is symmetric, which means that the same settings can be used to both encrypt or decrypt a message).
![]()
We will use python to create an enigma encoder program to encrypt and decrypt messages using specific Enigma settings. The article here explains the detail of how enigma encoder works.
