How to unload dbk64.sys without a reboot?
This dbk64.sys seems to remain in memory indefinitely. It can't be found by Process Explorer and can't be forcibly deleted by any commands that I know. Of course, a reboot gets rid of its instance.
There are certain impudently intrusive kinds of anti-cheats and stuff that apparently even scan all drives without the user's knowledge/permission (they deliberately don't exactly specify this in their "agreement" fuckeries, but it's supposed to be understood implicitly).
It seems to me that the only solution is to keep CE completely out of their sight.

run the kernelmodule unloader. it’s in start->programs->cheat engine 6.x->kernel stuff->kernelmodule unloader
if you’re on an inferiour OS that doesn’t support multiple levels of the start menu (windows 8 or 10) then look around the ce menu, or just go to the install folder of ce and find it there

well almost.. Mine shows error:
DKB32.dll Error (in title)
The driver couldn’t be opened! It’s not loaded or responding. I recommend to reboot your system and try again (If you’re on 64-bit windows, you might want to use dbvm)
If that fails, reboot, run the kernelmoduleunloader.exe and try again.
Make sure you renamed dbk64.sys to xxx1000.sys
oh, and if you renamed your cheatengine-x86_64.exe then rename cheatengine-x86_64.sig to the same name

I did forget to change the .sig name to match.
Use ce.bat to compile, that way the driver won’t demand a valid .sig
