Как отключить «улучшения» поиска имени хоста Microsoft?

Я нашел ответ: Если у вас возникла та же проблема, перейдите в реестр: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters и очистите значение mshome.net от ключа ICSDomain , затем отключите и снова включите сетевой адаптер.

Here is my problem:

I have setup a WDS server on a Windows 2008R2 server. I have been able to deploy servers but all my attempt to join computers to the domain failed.

I think the reason is that i have problem with my DHCP scope. The dhcp server is set locally on my WDS server. The WDS server has two NICs. The first one is configured on my AD domain and i have shared this network connection. The second NIC is configured on my deployment VLAN and thats were the DHCP server is listening.

The weird thing is that when i install the DHCP server i cannot manage it at all. The server shows up with a name like hostname.mshome.net i can restart it but i cannot configure the scope at all. So my clients get a dhcp address, i can deploy images but i cannot configure the scope so they can get a valid default gateway, hence they cant talk with any DC and any attempt to join the domain fails.

I tried reinstalling DHCP even though i can give the default gateway during role installation, the configuration fails.

What is mshome.net?

sometimes I keep getting wrong dns suffix which is mshome.net and wrong DNS server which is 192.168.137.1. The solution that ive been doing is releasing ip and then renew it.

Sounds like a problem with your DHCP server, or you may have a rouge DHCP server configured accidentally. but more detail would be helpful.

You might have a computer on the network with ICS enabled. That machine would be providing IP addresses and a domain name as you’ve seen.

Check your computers to see if Internet Connection Sharing is enabled.

We disbaled the ICS in the policy. but there are computers in the network that is not joined iin the AD. So if it occurs again. Its them :). Thanks guys.

MShome.net is normal. I happens when you configure Internet Connection Share (ICS) on a computer. The ICS host requires a DNS name. If the computer has not been assigned a DNS domain name then MShome.net is automatically applied to the host computer.

Рабочая группа. Изначально пишется workgroop. Пользоваться элементарно. Собираешь сеть (связка нескольких компов через свич или напрямую) все кто будет находится в данной рабочей группе (компьютеры) смогут пользоваться ресурсами друг друга (папками принтерами) остальные не смогут. Как узнать или поменять рабочую группу. Ищем "Мой компьютер" нажимаем на нем пр. кн. мыши. жмем свойства. Далее идем на закладку "Имя компьютера" нажимаем кнопку (на закладке) "Изменить" там выскачит окно "Изменение имени компьютера" и будет поля "Имя компьютера" (это то имя под которым твой комп будет виден в сетевом окружении) и имя рабочей группы (это какраз и есть то о чем ты спросил) это то в какой рабочей группе будет виден твой компьютер.
