Beat timer wow что значит
Is there any point in 2 or 3 chesting a M+ anymore? It used to give more chests at the end but I haven’t seen that happen (unless they just give out more from the one chest). Unfortunately can’t find any info on this.

A lot of misinformed answers here. This is how it really works.
Completing the m+ but after the timer expired gives 2 items. Doing it in time (no matter how quick) gives an extra one, making it 3 items to loot for the group. 2 or 3 ‘chesting’ does NOT reward you more loot.
The only reason +2 and +3 matters is the keystone. If you complete in time you get a random keystone 1 level higher than what you did. By 2 chesting the run, you get 2 levels higher key making the progression quicker to reaching your desired key level. Same for +3, upgrades the key by 3.
The number of loot can be increased by doing higher m+ than the cap in time. The cap now is +10 and every level increase the drop % for extra loot by 33%. That means completing +14 in time drop 4 loot instead of 3. +15 = 4 loot, and 33% for a 5th.
You are about to leave Libreddit

It means the group will disband if/when it becomes infeasible to time the key so as to set expectations.
The players in those keys are only after rating, not valor or gear.
Alternatively keys with "completion" in it normally mean you are committing to stick around to finish the key regardless of how bad it might be (within reason). These keys often have players that are playing at the edge of their ability or are doing it for vault, gear, and/or valor.
I’m always afraid to sign up for a completion key because I don’t want to be in there for an hour and a half. Ten minutes over is fine, but I don’t want to suffer.
In my experience completion keys are way less toxic and half of my first 20s were “completion” that we timed.
I always mark my keys for completion specifically to try and avoid early leavers but always aim to time (and usually do). Definitely creates a much more relaxed vibe even if you lose a lot of 'good' players.
Same, but then sometimes I get a group that wipes 4 times on the first boss and then I'm stuck there because I'd feel bad for leaving a group I specifically tagged for completion.
Now I've been just using "+X chill" to reasonable success
My solution to that is play prot paladin and carry the group cause you can keep everyone alive. They'll finish the key, whether they want to or not -_-
I won't let them die on me. And if they do? Brez! Live damn it!
All my other non-paladin characters (I have 3 paladins :>), absolutely feels terrible being unable to help the group and it's a coin flip
Like my prot warrior, you basically are never going to die, but you have to sit there and watch as all your 'friends' do and there's nothing you can do to save them XD
Completion runs should be within reason. Ask the group if they think the key can be completed like this and see if they agree with you or not. I usually stay twice the key timer. Then again I once waited for a tank's brb which lasted 40 minutes.
I agree it should be within Reason. But you can usually Gauge what kind of “Completion” it’s going to be when you first join the Group. If it’s a 20 and one of the DPS or healer is below 300k health I usually ask, “Is this a Carry..”? Not to be rude or anything, just want to know what I am getting into exactly.
Yeah of course, I know I'm "allowed" to leave. It's just some people seem to be willing to go on for 2 hours while for me 1 hour is pushing it.
I so far tried only 3 20s. We completed 2 of them, both in time. Both was marked completion.
haha you wish
those groups are always trying their boosted key from last week and are Incredily oblivious and toxic at the same time
Never join those
Yea I wouldn't sign up for em them then. The people putting completion in the title are being earnest so as to set expectations. Would be kinda mean to bail on them when they were being honest.
Normally it's pretty obvious if it's going to happen or not. My internal clock is kinda like an hour or so. If I'm joining a completion key (and they don't set any specific expectations before the key starts) I stick around if I think the group can complete it. Sometimes those completions are really rewarding. The other nice thing about completions is most of the toxicity is gone because noone is reeeeeing about the timer.
I've also timed about half the completion keys I've joined. which isn't that far off from my normal key completion %
Ya especially if it's a high key for vault. Some work hard to push their keys to 20 and just want a single 421 in their vault and don't care if they wipe 5x on each boss, they just want to down it. Never sign up for a completion if your gonna be the first to leave. My philosophy is if I go into a group like that I will never be the first to ditch.
I think just see what the expectations are. For some people, completion means completion at any cost, even hours and hours of time — and that's okay.
When I was doing completion keys on week 1, most groups I was in agreed that we'd be staying to complete if we felt we could complete the dungeon within 2 hours. If we were having to spend an excessively large amount of time on the first boss, (looking at you pre nerf ruby life pools) we agreed we'd just leave it there and move on.
Even in my premade we all confirm it is a 'no leaver' run lol
Also pro tip for completion groups: bring multiple people who can lust, so you can send it on every wipe on a boss after you go over time.
Pro gamer move right here.
Or one hunter with multiple lust pets
Or just have drums ready, that's what they exist for.
Same experience here, pretty much. I was helping a friend get a 21 down so he could have a high key for the following week, as he’s a had trouble pushing that high, so we listed mine as “completion”. After doing many super nice completion keys (half of them time the key anyway, like you were saying), the healer left the group after before the first boss. Probably not even five minutes in, I shit you not. I don’t understand why these people apply in the first place. ♂️
If my completion keys fail it’s because someone “disconnected”. I had a RLP fail last week with a legit disconnect, guy came back on his hotspot missed it by less than 10 seconds. But most other times we’ve had a bad pull (not even a wipe) and then someone (usually with details saying who took avoidable damage) mysteriously disconnects usually a DPS. It’s super annoying when the person that DCs is the one that butt pulled/didn’t do a mechanic/failed thundering. Most of the people I get signed up to completion keys are great, only had minor amounts of toxicity (my favourite is the one that went “that’s not how the big guys do it” then proceed to pull woeful numbers, pull extra mobs as not a tank, fail most move out of shit mechanics, tell us we all sucked and then left).
Yeah, it can be rewarding even to not time a key but know everyone's giving their all and really making an effort.
In my experiences when it becomes clear a fight can't be done myself or someone will comment to make one or two final attempts before leaving. It seems polite in that case.
I even respect if someone says, before the timer starts, they're leaving after a single wipe bc at least the expectation is set.
I've always been afraid to put it in the title because I know people think like this (don't blame you). Like, I want to time, but I also hope people will stick around even if we don't because the only reason I am running my 16+ key is for the concentrated primal infusions. I don't really care about pushing for rio, because I mainly like to raid, but that doesn't mean I won't try to form a decent group.
I think the best solution to getting this intent across is labeling it "chill", though I know that may not be *exactly* how you're trying to define it
Lol I'm on the other side- I find most "completion" pugs I join usually time or at least aren't that far over, with slightly less pressure during run. Meanwhile I have more anxiety on joining keys where the group is specifying that they want to time, because then if I fuck up it could be the deciding factor on ruining someone's run
My experience is the pulls are small, or easy doubles, and deaths are low. We’re moving slow, making sure we have mana. Wait for rebuffs. Etc. The runs are slightly slower but generally cleaner.
Maybe you can’t time HOV or AV that way, but TJS, Court and SBG are all okay pulled calmly.
As a pugger, you stay in a +20 for 3 hours for the vault
Worth that 421 slot at the end of the week if you don't already do more than 8 a week.
If I’m unsure I just tell them before the key goes in if/when I’ll leave. If they aren’t happy with that they’re more than welcome to find someone else instead of me. Like I’ll just say “yo I don’t wanna wipe like 10 times so if it’s going real bad I’ll probably leave.” Some people are cool with that, some aren’t. That way you don’t have to feel like a dick for bailing
Im a weekly 1 m+ person and list my 15/16 key as “completion”. Usually if we dont time it its maybe 3-5 minutes overtime. Never really ran into nightmare scenarios
Then don’t sign up for them.
Can only really see this 20s for the vault reward.
I treat it more as a "we will mutually agree to leave" then it is an actual completion.
No need to be afraid or suffer. There's a difference between the group struggling a bit but being able to manage it or outright not going to happen.
I'm all for staying after the timer, i usually even hide it until it's done but it's pretty obvious after a few pulls if your group is going to be able to do it. It's one thing when everything is reasonable going well, people seem to more or less know what they're doing but someone makes a mistake, doesn't dodge one of the half a million oneshoting shit getting thrown at you, accidentally pull an extra patrol someone missed, etc and wipe. That is very easy to happen and it's fine, I don't care or mind trying again. These are what "completed" runs are to me. You don't need to play perfect in a way that beats the timer, I'm not expecting that but i am expecting people to generally know what is going on with the occasional mistake.
It's a whole different deal if they're completely oblivious, outright ignoring mechanics repeteadly or are expecting to get carried or something. You're just wasting your time. I don't care if it's a "completed" run, this falls under the unreasonable kind and I'll just leave.
Ironically, most of my "chill run"/"completion" go perfectly fine and time almost all of them
I check for completion runs all the time and only had one nightmare group. Its not bad.
My very first 20 I tried we spent 6 hours on nokhud offensive. It was terrible and ever since that key I usually leave when its clear we're not going to time it. People hate it but I can't afford to spend that much time on a single key anymore.
Tell me the vault was worth it.
It wasn't. Now i can do 20s just fine and time them but it was very rough at the start
This is specifically why I don't like the current overly RNG-heavy nature of the game.
Enough "unlucky" runs and a lot of people just give up. That's not healthy / good for the game.
6 hours on NO has zero to do with luck lol
even for "completion" sticking around for more than like, 90 minutes is pretty crazy tbh
Yeah I've seen completions up to almost 3 hours. Not for me.
I feel like I time the same amount of completion, beat timer, and nondescript titles. But completion are always chill af. I don’t seek them out but I don’t avoid them either
whats funny is they are often smoother because they move much slower, particularly on fort weeks. I got a 22 AV this week in my vault(gross). I didn't want to knock it to a 20 and risk not timing, so just ran a "complete" on the 22. we went about 6 minutes over with 15 total deaths, it was great, i pulled single packs without racing. I got a juicy 21 SMB and life goes on.
The way I look at ot is, hopefully it decently skilled players trying to avoid having people join that would leave at the first sign of trouble.
Completion keys are for those desperate to get a higher vault slot than they currently have. You will see many "Completion" or "Weekly no Leaver" keys on a Tuesday and mostly for a +20.
As a new M+ player, I used "completion" to mean I'm going to pull more conservatively since I'm trying a new difficulty level. 90% of the time that still meant coming in well under time, but I didn't know how tight the timer would be when I listed the key.
It means the group will disband if/when it becomes infeasible to time the key
It means the key will be bricked by some hothead asshole the second something goes minorly wrong lol
Tank pulls everything at the start of azure vault
too much to interrupt or stun
wipe from group DoTs
tank leaves in the first 2minutes of a completion key
Thank you for explaining. I wasn't aware of this either
Its also one of the preset options, if you dont have an authenticator on your account you can only put in a few preset options, Beat timer and completions are part of that
They're after. +6 rating? But don't need valor or gear from it.
Most people aren’t that strict on “beat timer”outside of like 21+ keys. It’s just a better message than “completion”. There’s still vault/valor/focuses and the desire to switch the dungeon that typically keep people around.
These are pregenerated titles available when creating a premade group in LFG. There are 3, and choosing two of them adds that phrase to the group title:
- Beat Timer — it means your objective is to beat the timer and you will probably leave if the key isnt timeable anymore.
- Standard — This is the default option and it does not add anything to the title. It can be anything, but i guess the original intent was for people who want to time but dont care much if they fail the timer.
- Completion — it means you only want to finish the dungeon (probably for vault), do not care about timer and expect people to not leave if things go very bad.
The phrases also change with the keyholder's language, for example i am a Spanish speaker so the options will be 'Contrarreloj' and 'Completar'.
Also if you don't have blizzard authenticator on your account, you won't be able to write anything on title, the key level will be auto added to title and those titles mentioned can be choose as a complement.
I think you need an authenticator AND sms protect, which is really stupid.
Not sure why downvoted. Those things are good to have for any account, but to allow you to edit a mythic group title, it IS stupid!
I believe it is a deterrent to (albeit not a solution to) spambots.
I didn't realize this was pre-generated from selections, thanks for clarifying!
This is the real answer.
But I don't know how you got your screenshot. Cause on OCE (Shared with US?) nobody uses this. Even when I do I edit the title back down cause.. nobody has long titles.
Step 1: Put "beat timer" in the search field
Step 2: .
Step 3: Profit
And if you ever see “OC” in the title late at night it means Oceanic, you’re grouping with somebody from that region and they’re warning you they might have high ping but not always.
To this point, you’re correct but the reason we OCE players put it in the title is to set the expectation for Americans that THEY will have high ping, as the group will be hosted on OCE.
OCE players in general are comfortable doing keys with high ping as we’re used to it, but far too many keys have been bricked by Americans joining and then going “wtf lag” mid key and leaving, hence why OCE players have taken to listing it in the name as a warning.
Obviously in higher keys 22+ ping matters more and so they’re probably also seeking OCE gamers specifically.
I only do 20-21s for vault and I’m fine taking Americans if they’re fine with the ping.
I've done a bunch of keys with OCE groups. So far they have been the most polite groups I've been in. A much higher percentage of them end up being terrible, but I'll be damned if anyone is rude. It's honestly weird that even when someone is rage quitting no one was being a dick about it.
Generally speaking, Aussies are chill af man. Not just specifically in wow but we just don’t give a fuck about most things, it ain’t worth tilting over. My own experience at least.
My anecdotal experience over almost twenty years of WOW now is that Aussies, Canadians, Swedes, and Germans are the least toxic.
When i played on shadowmoon-eu in 2006, there was swedish guild 'ez' l, they were pretty toxic. But i agree thats an exception.
I joined an OCE key not knowing what it meant. Fun trying to dodge swirls with 300 ping.
Don’t forget “Big D#%* Energy” title
Ah yes, the warning sign you're about to enter a fever dream of volatile personalities intermingling together to form into a sure firecracker of a run. You're either gonna bash the key timer in and double chest it or your going to experience a fire fight of text slurs.
They're the ones you avoid like the plague. Their egos are usually only matched by their petulant, childish behaviour.
This is the answer. I was too lazy to setup 2FA and you're stuck with those three preselections. I imagine that's probably the cause
Completion — it means you only want to finish the dungeon (probably for vault), do not care about timer and expect people to not leave if things go very bad.
Unless you wipe for an hour on the same trash pack because dps doesn't know to interrupt.
Most of the "beat timer" tittles comes from lack of autenthicator app. You are forced to choose betwen beat or completion and you cant type your stuff.
It’s a good way to specify intent. This is to contrast with groups that simply want to complete and get gear, valor and/or great vault completion. Score is less important so they will generally be more forgiving of mistakes.
It’s a good way for score-oriented players to group with each other and there’s less disappointment if people leave a bricked key that so many players dislike if you’ve been keeping up with this subreddit.
That makes sense! Thanks for clarifying. Up until reading this, I’ve always seen this title and thought it seemed redundant. I suppose it’s because it’s quite a bit less common to see the alternative
I suppose it’s because it’s quite a bit less common to see the alternative
At this stage of the season, sure. But early on when most people weren't timing +20s it was VERY common to push keys to 20-21 and have "+20 finish dungeon" or "+20 for vault" etc. in the title. People at this point are (mostly) finished gearing their characters and only have small upgrades left, so the type of player that is still doing keys actively is more likely to be doing it for achievements/m+ score rather than for gear.
It’s not that common to beat 20 even at the end of the season.
This is just straight up not true lmao
Yeah of course because the majority of the WoW players do +20 at the end of the season. You live in fantasy world if you think so. Most players don’t even do M+ in the first place.
For the people who actually get up to the +20 level consistantly, «beating» 20s at the end of the season is pretty common, obviously for the people who cap out at 16s or 10s or whenever they stop progressing this obviously isn’t true, but those people where never in the «+20 for vault» groups to begin with so why would you even include them in the conversation.
Even people that do run m+ only it’s not that common to do +20. I myself do 20 at the end of every season and I can tell you for sure that number isn’t as huge as you think it is. I mean I thought this was common sense. Most players are usually happy running low keys or max 15.
There are selection boxes you can "check" when forming a group, one such option adds "Beat Timer" to the title automatically.
Is that Elvui that makes your filter look like that?
It's either ElvUI or ElvUI's WindTools extension. I've used both together for long enough I can't remember which is handling it, but generally yes
Cool I’ll check that out. Thanks!
It’s not the default elvui setting that I’ve seen but a nice add on to making LFG better is Premade Groups Filter. Adds a similar colored icon to show who all is in the group already plus a bunch of other filters and nice improvements.
You can see which groups already declined you and make custom filters too. Easier to install than elvui if you don’t want to use elvui.
Cool I’ll try that out. Thanks.
Obviously to beat the timer?
I am new to the game and didn't know about this!! I have MASSIVE anxiety as a holy priest in timed dungeons. but I also (sadly) enjoy doing them a LOT. I will be marking all my keys like this now just for completion. If we time it, great, but I'm sooooo tired of people shit-talking me while I'm learning (and I do pretty low keys and we still usually time — I'm just learning how to play the game so I still make some mistakes). It's caused me to have so much anxiety I almost stopped playing (especially the after-dungeon PMs from people telling me to uninstall the game or to unalive myself merely because I'm still learning). I mean. I already suffer from pretty bad social anxiety so that doesn't help, but knowing I can mark it as this and hopefully have less toxic people joining my groups actually gives me the confidence to keep playing. Just hit 2000+ rank this week and I almost had panic attacks going into dungeons because of how vicious some people can be to healers. Thanks for asking this question OP. Wouldn't have known about this otherwise (I still get confused with all the interfaces etc).
Healing in Dragonflight is much more involved than it has been in previous expansions, so props for coming in and kicking ass! I totally get how it can be anxiety-inducing, especially when people can be so awful online with their veil of anonymity. Im sorry you’ve dealt with that. It’s not uncommon, unfortunately, but the thing that helps me the most is considering that the people on the other end that would act like that are generally people that if I met in real life would probably realize immediately that their not someone whose opinion I’d weigh so heavily.
I think I kind of engrished that, but hopefully it made sense. Anyway, I’m glad this helped!
This is super sweet. Thank you 🙂 I really appreciate you taking the time to write something so kind and encouraging. Just as I think to leave WoW it’s people like you who encourage me to keep trying to improve and enjoy the game. That makes a lot of sense <3 and yeah you’re honestly right. Most people who would be like that are probably not good people to care about either way.
Thanks again and don’t worry. English isn’t my first language either (Greek here 🙂 ) so I appreciate your efforts to write in English. Very clear your meaning 🙂
Aww 🙂 you’re welcome!
You play on EU servers? If so there is a “No Pressure” discord group with a lot of players (and I mean alot) that do mythic+ and raiding. All are committed to having a good time without the pressure. For healing its great as people are always pleasant even when wiping. I recommend you join it. NA servers have something similar — https://discord.gg/2y33cc6p
If you're on US servers, there is a friendly M+ community that is aimed at people like you who want to learn and have a chill, fun experience without all of the toxicity.
Ah i am EU but thank you so much for recommending it 🙂 Maybe someone else will benefit from it 🙂
Then please look for the No Pressure Community which is the EU counterpart https://discord.gg/5vbQSYDB
I feel you. I'm just shy of 2k now and have been dealing with bad heal anxiety in mythics. Weird because I have not had that issue this badly in wow in the past. I also don't have the issue in raids, even heroic difficulty. It just feels like everything in M+ runs now is constantly on a knife edge where one small mistake or misclick or a few seconds inattention by the healer can ruin the result of the group. Running a bunch of lower keys this last week has helped chill me out some and get some mechanics and timing practice in.
I also had a group last night that didn't quite time AV (no surprise as we didn't do the big skip). The run was so damn smooth and dare I say even fun at the max I have run. It served as a good reminder of how much healing and panic I normally endure making up for more mistake prone groups that don't interrupt or dodge well.
Good luck on your push for 2k!! You can do it 🙂 🙂 I haven’t played since 2008 so things are very different and I don’t have a real ability to compare but I’m hearing a LOT of people say what you are about M+ being super sweaty this expansion. I am glad you were able to do some chill runs and calm your nerves a bit, and sounds like the AV run was wonderful (I love runs like that were folks do what they are supposed to do or at least if they don’t they don’t blame us healers for not…oh I don’t know…anticipating their every move while also handling mechanics, actually required healing, etc). I hope you can keep pushing and get your 2k mount!! I believe in you 🙂
As much as it sucks that it’s a shared feeling it’s sorta comforting to know im not the only healer having anxiety (was feeling pretty silly about being anxious about a game but seems normal for healers). One healer to another — keep your chin up 🙂 You’ve got this!!
I go out of my way to be super duper encouraging to people in game. Groups that struggle or are newbies are the most fun in my opinion as long as everyone is being encouraging and nice about it (reminds me of the “old days” playing lol).
Thanks truly. I think we have a lot in common. I played back in vanilla thru half of Cata for about 6 or 7 years. Then was gone for 10. Came back in late SL. This is the first M+ season I have tried to get KSM. Picked a good one to start on for a healer lol.
You are Def not alone. I see a lot of comments with varying degrees of the same. That's why I responded. I think I'm starting to get over it now and TBH once I get to 2k will probably dial it back anyway. Go run some raids again and work on some alts. I have zero desire to push past about 15.
I’m just a dps but I get super anxious about pushing into the next tiers, especially if a few keys have gone bad. It was nerve wracking the first few keys in 10s, then 16s, then 20s etc. You don’t wanna be the failure and get yelled at.
I did some shadowlands season 1 and didn’t play wow again until DF. It was hard to get back into the groove of M+ and above 2000 it does get sweaty. But you have to realize a small percentage of players get to keys this high so it’s part of any end game content. I like the challenge and you obviously do too. So I hope you keep going and don’t get discouraged from rude people.
I learn new things about keys from pugs all the time, no one person knows everything in this game. Even if they sometimes act like it. Props to you for healing too, that’s extra anxiety inducing for me. I don’t know how y’all do it on weeks like explosives.
The cliche advice is finding a guild that is chill and runs m+ together. Or start adding pugs you enjoyed playing with. I feel like more people would continue doing keys together if the expectation was to keep the group alive after a good key. You’ll have an easier time getting into 20+ as a priest with a premade group, so start making friends now! Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! 🙂 I’d love to find a small group to play regularly with who care enough to push themselves and improve but are not toxic about it. I think you’re absolutely right about a cultural change from one and done to trying a few with pugs who do well together would facilitate finding these groups far far better.
Also I’m sorry to hear this random toxicity is suffered by all classes. 🙁 nobody deserves that when enjoying their hobby. People are just trying to play a game. Of course, we’re trying to challenge ourselves for sure, but I guess I’d just wish people would go about it in less toxic ways. Certainly, it’s no random persons responsibility to teach someone mechanics etc but like…nothing wrong with just telling someone “hey your performance in this part was bad look into it”. Way more helpful than go un alive yourself or some other aggressive nonsense. It’s the internet though, no? So maybe I’m just expecting too much.
Glad you were able to get back into the game!
Hahaha omg the week before last was a nightmare! It was also my first week doing 10+ and it was suuuuper stressful. Trial by fire I guess 😉

Timer[2]

Обратный отсчет — Start TIMER(переменная типа таймер) as a Однократный timer that will expire in 30.00 seconds
Обратный отсчет — Create a timer window for TIMER with title TIMER
Обратный отсчет — Показать (Last created timer window)

Ответ
В твоём триггере стоит событие «Map Initialization», хотя в комментарии к действию «Обратный Отсчет — Create Timer Window» написано «Timer Windows cannot be displayed at map initialization».
