Notice Before Setting Up the DES-1005D / DES-1008D
Check Your Package Contents
The setup of the Switch can be performed using the following steps:
Install the DES-1005D / DES-1008D in a fairly cool and dry place. See Technical
Specification for the acceptable operation temperature and humidity ranges.

О чём это?
Итак, к нам в руки попал коммутатор D-Link и надо с чего-то начинать знакомство с этой железякой.
Подключение.
По умолчанию коммутатор имеет IP адрес 10.90.90.90, если же нет, подключаемся консолью — скорость порта 115200 — и даём ИП адрес
Выключаем получение адреса по DHCP
Сменить пароль можно будет командой config account ИМЯ_ПОЛЬЗОВАТЕЛЯ — у нас попросят старый пароль, а потом 2 раза надо будет ввести новый.
Включим шифрование паролей — а то они видны в конфиге открытым текстом
После этой настройки мне пришлось перезагрузить свитч, ибо пускать он в себя ни через ssh ни через telnet категорически не хотел.
Входим через командную строку.
Почему через командную строку? Ну просто через веб сделать это не проще, а описать на форуме — сложнее )))
Итак, входим на свич по ssh и смотрим прошивку командой
