Update packs for the K-Lite Codec Pack
KLCP gets updated frequently. However, there may be worthwhile updates to some of the included components in between the regular releases of KLCP. The update pack below can be used to keep your current installation up-to-date.
This update pack is suppossed to be installed on top of the latest version of the codec pack. The minimum required version of your currently installed codec pack is mentioned below. The update pack is cumulative, meaning it contains all changes since that version. You do not need to install any versions in between.

Updating older versions
The update pack contains all cumulative changes since the last major release of the codec pack. The minimum required version of your current codec pack installation is mentioned above.
If your current installation is a version older than required by this update pack, then you need to download the latest version of the regular installer here. Once that is installed, you can install the update above (if it is a newer version).
The regular installers can be used to update any version of the codec pack. You can simply install on top of your current installation. The installer will automatically notify you if it is needed to uninstall an old version first, and offers to do that automatically.

Всем привет. Поговорим сегодня о программе KLCP Update — мы должны выяснить что это такое. Еще я узнал, что полное название проги это KLCP Update Check. И если посмотреть на название.. Update Check означает проверка обновлений. А вот что такое KLCP.. то это пока непонятно. Ага, вот и узнал что KLCP означает K-Lite Codec Pack, а это пакет кодеков для видео и аудио. И тут напрашивается такой вывод, что KLCP Update Check это какой-то компонент для проверки обновлений.
Итак, еще раз, получается что KLCP Update Check это компонент для проверки обновлений, возможно что этот процесс автоматический. И если будут обновления, то или они установятся автоматом или же вам покажется уведомление о новой версии пакета кодеков K-Lite Codec Pack. Как-то так ребята, ничего опасного в KLCP Update Check нет вообще, оно не должно грузить комп
Я еще поискал информацию в интернете и узнал, что у некоторых людей выскакивает примерно такое окно:
Заголовок окна KLCP Update Check, в самом окне написано что.. появилась новая версия K-Lite Codec Pack, что было бы неплохо скачать и для этого есть кнопка Download complete installer. Внизу еще вижу есть настройка с какой периодичностью проверять обновления, в меню можно выбрать А вот тоже самое окно, просто тут видно лучше что написано, смотрите:
Еще одна картинка, тут окно имеет заголовок Setup — K-Lite Codec Pack, это установочное окно кодек пака:
То есть если вы будете устанавливать обновление, ну из окна KLCP Update Check, то у вас потом может появиться вот такое окно. И тут как видите есть три режима установки, это Simple mode (типа легкий режим), Normal mode (обычный) и Advanced mode (продвинутый). Режимы отличаются количеством настроек при установке, если не шарите то ничего тут не выбирайте, ну или выберите Normal mode и все.
Есть еще второй вариант — если вы будете обновлять пак кодеков, то у вас может быть окно с заголовком Setup — KLCP Update, вот картинка в тему:
Видите тут перечень непонятных штук? Это вроде то что будет обновлено. То есть вышли новые версии этих штук и они будут обновлены, если вы нажмете кнопку Next Вот такая же картинка, но тут штуки немного другие:
Для интереса я пошел в гугловский переводчик и там перевел название KLCP Update Check и вот результат:

Теперь такой вопрос, а можно ли удалить KLCP Update Check? Удалить.. хм.. не знаю даже. Но проверку обновлений вроде как можно отключить — когда выскочит окно KLCP Update, то я уже говорил, там внизу есть настройки — в меню должен быть пункт Never, вот его и выбирайте. И вроде как больше это окно вас не должно потревожить…
А можно ли удалить K-Lite Codec Pack? Да, можно. Но стоит ли? После его удаления у вас могут быть приколы — то видео не будет работать, ну или будет, но как-то качество будет хуже.. может не все форматы будут воспроизводиться. Хотя я не знаю, может вы хотите просто переустановить K-Lite Codec Pack. В общем ладно — я покажу как удалить, смотрите, зажимаете кнопки Win + R, далее вставляете команду:
Нажали ОК, потом у вас появится список прог, которые стоят у вас на компе, ну примерно такое окно будет:
И вот тут вам нужно найти K-Lite Codec Pack, нажать правой кнопкой — выбрать Удалить, ну и потом следовать подсказкам, справитесь точно
