Build date is too old asus что делать
I upgraded my G55VW from 206 to 209, and now the keyboard backlight wont turn on when I open the lid.
Anybody knows how to do a downgrade, so I can come back to 206 ?

I can only tell how to use Winflash since it’s all I’ve been using.
This is at your own risk.
Start Command Prompt
Type:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\WinFlash
(this is the default install location)
Type:
Winflash /nodate
Choose the old BIOS and it will let you update (and give you a warning saying it’s older).
Let it run, do not do anyhting else. It will ask for Restart. Do it. It should test the BIOS and shutdown from what I remember. Then just start it from Power.
This is tested by me on more than one Asus laptop, but remember that some people had problems with Winflash so wait to see if someone can give you a better option.

I have been trying to downgrade/flash with 204, 206, 208 and 209, but with no success, because the flashing tools wont allow flashing, due to the following errors.
c_man’s solution from commandopromt: «Invalid BIOS file»
EZ Flash from bios: «Build Date is too Old!!»
Aptio Winflash from Windows: «3 — Error: ROM file size does not match existing BIOS size.»
Aptio AFUDOS from DOS bootdisk: «3 — Error: ROM file size does not match existing BIOS size.»
I need other solutions, so anyone give it a shot, and I’ll give it a try.

У данного бренда сложилась такая репутация, что часто обновление BIOS не только не исправляет существующих ошибок с железом, а только добавляет их. Поэтому откат БИОСа на ноутбуках ASUS — это решение многих проблем, в частности — не определяется жесткий диск
Шаг 1. Для начала сделаем загрузочную флешку
Для этого нам надо создать Free-DOS загрузочную флешку. Это делается с помощью программы Rufus. Cкачиваем. Вставляем флешку и запускаем Rufus. Делаем настройки такие же, как на скриншоте ниже:
Шаг 2. Копируем файл с прошивкой. Выставляем приоритет в BIOS
Шаг 3. Запускаем Rufus и пишем команду для прошивки
После запуска с флешки Rufus предложит вам выбрать раскладку клавиатуры — выбирайте английскую. Далее откроется командная строка, где нужно ввести следующую команду после C:\. Обратите внимание, что перед именем файла присутствует английская i. Т.е. если ваша прошивка называется bios.rom, в строке необходимо будет прописать ibios.rom
afudos /i[имяфайла].rom /pbnc
Если вы введете команду неправильно, то выскочит подсказка, как правильно писать команду. Если всё верно — начнется процесс прошивки. Можно посмотреть на видео ниже

Откатить есть возможность, у меня ноутбук Asus ROG GL752VW, стояла версия BIOS 214, обновил на версию 300, не понравилась работа ноутбука, в особенности выросла температура дисков SSD и HDD при работе, сервисная поддержка Asus подсказала как откатиться:

Для прошивки более старой или такой же версии БИОС нужно запустить утилиту WinFlash с ключом /nodate

Unable to flash BIOS (build date too old)
My laptops videocard fucked up and I had it replaced with the exact same model (IntelHD4000+nVidia 635M optimus).
Long story short I just finished creating the perfect setup for dualbooting Mac and Windows, however a different problem occurs on each OS. For Mac there's like a 40% chance that I have accelerated graphics, the other 60% is just laggy af and crackling as if I did not have QE/CI enabled.
On windows I cannot update my intelHD driver, once the screen starts flashing and going black (which usually happens) but this time it remains black. After an hour nothing, I just have to do a hard reboot just to see that the driver is still old.
Anyways, a mod on a hackintosh forum diagnosed my problem and it turns out I don't have an IMEI for my graphics or something and I could try reflashing my BIOS. However whenever I try doing it in the BIOS it tells me "Build date too old".
It's literally the exact same BIOS Asus S550CM 202, I don't know what to do now in order to fix this, and suggestions?
